Our second home is a mix of mid-century modern and "cabin in the woods." It sits on 2 heavily wooded acres and backs up to a mountainside with rock outcroppings. The main living area (living room, dining area, and kitchen) is raised about 4 steps, and the bedroom and bath areas are on the main level. There is one large bathroom with a shower. There is an electric fireplace surrounded by ledge stone in front of the u-shaped built-in sofa. There is abundant reading material & 2 TV's.

The guest house is your lake cottage home away from home. The house is directly on the water with access to dock your boat outside with ample bumpers at the boathouse on property. The location is right around the corner from City Park for loading and unloading and Goosepond Colony. Join us on the Mount View Hurricane Valley farm, where we grow veggies, play with the dogs and cats, feed the chickens, and sing with the turkeys. Welcome to Cloud 9 at On The Rocks, a unique repurposed cargo container getaway atop Lookout Mountain, Georgia. The Cloud 9 Rooftop Deck is a true place to relax and meditate, therefore there is no access television. There are 2 shared fire pits located at each end of the property. Firewood is provided along with ingredients to make s'mores.

There are hiking and biking trails and a swimming pool with cabana and playground for children. This getaway is somewhat remote to shopping or other city amenities. Scottsboro is about 20 miles away.
