In beautiful Moenui we have a typical kiwi north facing bach overlooking the Mahau Sound. It boasts a two bedroom house with a one bedroom and lounge Chalet, and an expansive deck that takes in full views of the water. There are many options to sit and take in gorgeous views from many vantage points around the property. Open plan kitchen, dining and lounge, opening out onto the deck. With a mooring, boat ramp to launch your boat, a local reserve and surrounding walks, you will fall in love.

Our Kayaks for your use, & our shoreline deck are a 2 minute walk down to the beach. A great spot to relax in the sun. Outdoor BBQ area and spa pool sets the scene for your relaxing break away. Cosy up next to the wood fire, relax on the verandah or explore the many tracks along the Taylor river and the hill. With vineyards, mountain bike tracks and the Marlborough Sounds nearby, you are perfectly positioned to enjoy our beautiful region. The cottage garden provides herbs for your use in the well equipped kitchen. We welcome dogs and can provide a horse paddock.

The sea is 1 min walk.Free Wifi, kayaks, bbq, childrens swing and outdoor blackboard. 10 mins drive to Havelock, 25 mins to Picton along the world renowned Queen Charlotte Drive. 40 mins to Blenheim. The wineries are 20 mins away. Havelock is the Green Shell Mussel capital of the world. Restaurants, a four square supermarket, cafe, galleries, marina and scenic cruises are located here.

The studio has a small kitchenette and a modern compact ensuite. It is fully furnished and equipped with everything needed for your stay, including free Wi-Fi and off-road parking. The stand-alone studio has its own entrance in a shared courtyard with the main house, situated on 2 hectares (5 acres) in a rural location 15-20 mins from downtown Nelson. We have cows, goats, chickens, a cat and a small aviary. You are welcome to explore the property and enjoy the views and birdlife.
