Located near the highest village in Britain, Flash, in the beautiful Peak District National Park, 1540 above sea level, in the winter we do get some snow, the Hay Loft has been designed to create a great base for exploring the countryside. On it’s doorstep are; Dragon’s Back Ridge, Chrome Hill, Axe Edge Moor and Buxton. We are only 30 minutes from Mam Tor, Bakewell and Chatsworth House. Curlews fly around the farm. Within a mile is Flash Bar Stores serving breakfast, lunch, cakes and groceries.

The Tower

The Tower is the perfect romantic high-end getaway for couples who want to get away from it all in a secluded location and fancy just something different. The Tower has recently been converted for use as a holiday let which was previously an unused ancillary building adjacent to The Water Works, an old water treatment plant near Bolsover, converted to domestic use in 2002 and featured on the Channel 4 programme Grand Designs. "The Old Shippon" at Stoop Farm is a modern barn conversion sleeping at least 6 in 3 spacious bedrooms all with private bathrooms. A fully equipped kitchen, large lounge and dinning area gives you all you need to unwind and relax in this spectacular corner of the Peak District National Park overlooking Chrome Hill. Footpaths lead you directly into one of the most dramatic landscapes of the peaks. Stoop farm is in a beautiful secluded location yet only 15mins from the spa town of Buxton.

Our studio has been a complete labour of love and now we're finally ready to share this beautiful little spot. You can wake up and hike until your hearts content, take in the sights in town and end your day reclining on the sofa with a cosy pellet burner. We have ample parking, private entrance, walking distance (1.2miles) to town (bars & restaurants), bus stop to Buxton / Macclesfield. Wifi, Sky TV,Netflix. Non smoking. *We do not have a hob or oven* EV Charger (added cost). Sorry no pets.
