La experiencia ORIGINAL de la cascada de Airbnb en Costa Rica. Si buscas experimentar la verdadera cultura, la naturaleza y la belleza de Costa Rica, esta es la experiencia que buscas. Te llevaremos a Las Monas (los monos) Rainforest a unos 5 minutos de Jaco. Es una caminata de 25 minutos hasta la selva aprenderás sobre la vegetación natural utilizada para la medicina por los nativos de Las Monas. La experiencia dura entre 2,5 y 3,5 horas, dependiendo de cuánto tiempo te gustaría estar en cada cascada y nadar en las piscinas naturales. No tienes que nadar si no quieres. Una vez que lleguemos a las cascadas, podrás nadar en las 10 piscinas naturales o saltar desde la cima de las cascadas. En nuestro camino de regreso tendrás el placer de degustar la cocina local en La Casita del Sabor, cocinada por la abuela de la ciudad de Las Monas. Es el recorrido perfecto si quieres estar con la naturaleza y la cultura local. *IMPORTANTE* La caminata comienza fácilmente y se vuelve más difícil a medida que la caminata continúa, por lo que no es adecuada para nadie con una discapacidad o algo que pueda ponerte en desventaja. Desde el comienzo del río hasta la primera cascada hay ~1 km (15-20 minutos) y luego verás nuevas cascadas cada 50-100 metros. Aproximadamente a unos7 km de ida y vuelta en total. Join me on a guided, yet off the beaten path, tour of the local rainforest and waterfalls. We will hike through creeks and up mountains to reach multiple waterfalls - each one unique. In the first part of the hike, we will walk on flat land through creeks, and I will show you local flaura and fauna as we go. The second part of the hike takes us more uphill, to see the waterfalls, where you can swim in clear blue fresh water. If you want, you can also jump from rocks into the waterfall. I will make sure you feel safe and show you how to climb the rocks and jump if you’d like. We will also cross some bridges over the waterfalls, which give you a beautiful view of the waterfalls and trees from high up. On the third part of the hike, we reach the highest waterfalls. You can choose to scale the mountains using ropes to pull you up, or you can walk on the path which is easier (but still beautiful). You will be surrounded by trees, plants, wildlife (shrimp, lobsters, frogs, butterflies, etc), and of course beautiful waterfalls with pools at the bottom that you can swim in. I will bring fresh coconuts for hidration. I will also bring local fruits for you to try. I will share with you my knowledge of the area - from the history to the wildlife.

Esto no es un recorrido de café comercial, es una experiencia educativa para crear conciencia en la única plantación de café de especialidad orgánica de la zona de Monteverde, situada en el Santuario Ecológico, un proyecto familiar de 48 hectáreas centrado en la conservación, sostenibilidad, agroecología, educación y la cultura. En un taller guiado por un experto donde aprenderás de los elementos básicos de la agricultura ancestral, cómo creamos nuestros propios fertilizantes orgánicos, luego conocerás los jardines de café plantados en el bosque que rodea el Santuario Ecológico, el área de secado y el proceso que implica el café de especialidad (historia, plantaciones, crecimiento, desarrollo, variedades y la ciencia del sabor para preparar un buen café). Después de salir del bosque, disfrutaremos de una degustación de café guiada, agudizando los sentidos para reconocer defectos, atributos, aromas y sabores en diferentes cualidades del café. Por último, crearemos una demostración interactiva de la ciencia del sabor y de todas las variables que un alquimista aplica en la preparación de un café utilizando diferentes métodos de infusión. If you like mammals such as sloths, armadillos, active birds such as owls, amphibians, reptiles, and many insects, then this is the opportunity to carry out an outdoor activity and learn more about the nocturnal behavior of many species of flora and fauna. It is an easily accessible route of around 2 kilometers, the ‘jewels’ of the cloud forest shine brighter at night. As the night grows dark, we'll step into our comfortable kayaks and get ready for a personal encounter with this remarkable phenomenon. We will lead you to the best spots, where sparkling algae accumulates. For a full hour, you will be enchanted by how every stroke of your paddle leaves behind a swirl of light, and fish light up their path like shooting stars in the water. The more YOU splash the water the more bioluminescent light you will experience. You are in command, the algae will NOT glow on its own, you have to ACTIVATE it with YOUR hands or the paddle. Come a bit early to enjoy the beautiful sunset over the bay and a nice cup of Costa Rican coffee, juice, and some snacks. You'll get a briefing, a suitable life jacket, before we go to the launch area for the kayaks. It will be like going on a cozy family tour, as the maximum group size is 10 people. Se realiza si el clima es adecuado. 4- Caminata de 15 minutos hasta el Río Arenal. 5- 1 hora de diversión en tubos inflables por el cauce del río, con chaleco salvavidas y casco. 6- Visita para ver o comprar souvenirs de los aborígenes Malekus. 7- Con el brazalete que le entregamos, tendrá entrada a las piscinas de Montaña de Fuego Resort, ubicado frente a nuestro lugar. Join me on a guided, yet off the beaten path, tour of the local rainforest and waterfalls. We will hike through creeks and up mountains to reach multiple waterfalls - each one unique. In the first part of the hike, we will walk on flat land through creeks, and I will show you local flaura and fauna as we go. The second part of the hike takes us more uphill, to see the waterfalls, where you can swim in clear blue fresh water. If you want, you can also jump from rocks into the waterfall. I will make sure you feel safe and show you how to climb the rocks and jump if you’d like. We will also cross some bridges over the waterfalls, which give you a beautiful view of the waterfalls and trees from high up. On the third part of the hike, we reach the highest waterfalls. You can choose to scale the mountains using ropes to pull you up, or you can walk on the path which is easier (but still beautiful). You will be surrounded by trees, plants, wildlife (shrimp, lobsters, frogs, butterflies, etc), and of course beautiful waterfalls with pools at the bottom that you can swim in. I will bring fresh coconuts for hidration. I will also bring local fruits for you to try. I will share with you my knowledge of the area - from the history to the wildlife.
