WATERFRONT! The Boat House is an 800sf private residence built directly over Lake Dora offering panoramic lakefront views. Located on Mount Dora's Famous Boat House Row, right in the heart of downtown Mount Dora, where you can roll out of bed and walk a few steps to one of the quaint coffee shops. The Boat House was once a tin boat shed with floors open to the water and housed two boats. Today, you will find warm, cozy furnishings, comfortable beds, a quiet location and sunsets every evening!

Enjoy all central Florida has to offer, at this cozy waterfront cottage, on Haynes Creek, part of the Harris Chain. Fish from the dock, or bring your own watercraft, you have your own boat slip. Explore the area on our paddleboat, kayaks or paddle board. If its shopping and nightlife you enjoy we are close to Leesburg, Eustis, Mt. Dora, Tavares and the Villages. Or maybe you would enjoy watching wildlife and exploring one of the many parks or trails in the area. Central Florida has it all.

The Lake House

Newly renovated home on Lake Eustis Canal. This lake is part of the famous Harris Chain of lakes. This home offers 2 large living spaces, a Full Kitchen, 2 Bedrooms and 1 Full bath. You will not have access to the owners closet or use of personal watercraft or boats, feel free to fish or bring your own water sports during your stay. Its very quiet area for relaxing or event participation, We are only 10 mins from Publix, ~15min to beautiful Downtown Mt Dora or ~1 hour to International Drive.

With three bedrooms and two bathrooms, our comfortable home has room for the whole family! Both the master and adjacent lakeside bedroom open out to the backyard on the lake for easy access to a private dock, two kayaks and 3 canoes all available for use. Short bike ride to the quaint Umatilla, 10 minute drive to Eustis, 15 minute drive to Downtown Mount Dora.

We are 20-30 minutes from most local Springs. Lake Umatilla does have public boat ramp access

Conveniently located in Lake County, FL, you are about an hour from beaches, theme parks and the Orlando airport, yet only minutes from the Ocala National Forest and beautiful natural springs. We have an abundance of wildlife here: birds, gators, bears, lizards. and more. Smoking is allowed but outside only. Our place is best suited for couples or solo travelers. We have a two person max limit. No kids. No extra guests. No parties are allowed on our property. Pet's are welcomed
