Washing machine and dryer are both provided as-well as Netflix on the tv. Conveniently located 6km outside of Youghal, which has spectacular beaches and plenty of bars and restaurants. Glenbower woods is 5km from the house which offers nice peaceful walks. Cork city is a 45 minute drive with regular buses running from both Youghal and Killeagh.

Lighthouse keepers; Home of the year finalist

Welcome to the lighthouse keepers house! We have been voted as one of Ireland’s top 50 places to stay by the Irish Independent #Fab50 ( number 26 :)) We spent two years renovating this 200 year old building. In May 2020, it featured on RTE Home of the year and became a finalist in the top 7 homes in Ireland. Irish lights built all 76 lighthouses & keepers houses in Ireland, and this is the only lighthouse keepers house in a town in Ireland!
