Our house sits at the bottom of a secret track in a private, historical cove on the beautiful Hebridean island of Lismore. Secluded, quiet and peaceful, Port Moluag is within easy reach of the Scottish mainland whilst feeling totally removed from the pace and noise of city life. The house is newly-built using eco technologies to limit its environmental impact and is surrounded by wonderful wildlife such as seals, otters, and a multitude of birds as well as many sites of historical interest.

This home is perfectly located with only a 2 minute walk to Oban's Famous golf course and a 5 minute walk to Oban's town centre. The door to the wee bit on the side is at the right hand side of the house. We have free parking across from our home. The wee bit on the side is perfect for relaxing with great views of the famous Mossfield stadium which hosts the shinty Macaulay cup final every year. Our charming property is a small wooden chalet set in the garden of our home, sitting above the town of Oban. The property sleeps a couple, and has a mezzanine which is suitable for 2 small children as one of the bunk beds is small. The chalet has a bright elevated outlook, a wood burning stove, spiral staircase. The chalet is in a beautiful location not far from McCaigs Tower, with outdoor access to a small balcony. The property has recently been renovated and the decor refreshed.

Tom’s House - peace, quiet and wildlife - in Oban!

Tom’s House is set in a large leafy garden, a 6 minute walk to Oban town centre. Private and peaceful in the garden of Terok Nor. Red squirrels, woodpeckers and roe deer - with fawn at foot are regular visitors at present. Parking on site is spacious. There is so much to do in the Oban area, ferries, castles, whales, dolphins, puffins, walking, beaches, watching .....great food - exceptional sea food and the oldest distillery in Scotland, wonderful whisky - what more can you ask?
