Situated on a hectare block with a relaxing rural outlook our house is walking distance (1500m) to Wainui Beach and a short (5 min) drive to Gisborne city. The perfect location! Magnolia Cottage

Enjoy the quiet area. Listen to all the native birds, swim in the pool, take a walk in our lovely area, or simply relax in the spacious cottage with a drink. Inside, go up the spiral stairs to the cozy mezzanine bedroom (please note that it's low up there). The unique stairs are from the old star observatory on Titirangi (the local maunga/mountain)! The sofa bed in the lounge can sleep 2. There is no kitchen, but there is a kitchenette with microwave, toaster and kettle.

THE BOARDROOM CHALET

The Boardroom chalet its a bright and modern 2 bedrrom unit amongst a beautiful garden. Wake up to the sound of the tuis playing in the trees! A short 5 min walk to the famous Stock route beach break at Wainui Beach, you'll also pass Zepher store on the way perfect for coffee and takeaways. There is plenty of room to roam around if you have kids and also a trampoline and tree house. The chalet is also set behind The Boardroom surf shop where LOST surfboards are produced.

Pōhatu, meaning stone in Maori, is a beautiful 1925 Arts & Crafts house built by one of regions wealthiest landowners. Lovingly restored in 2020, the guest room is self contained and absorbs the morning sun. Pohatu is located beside the Waimata River, on a 3000m2 section surrounded by mature trees and gardens which afford privacy for sitting outside with your favourite beverage.
