Great base for visiting the historic village of Charlestown (Truro Port in Poldark), Eden (1.25 miles - mainly on footpaths / same distance by car) & numerous beaches. Further afield is Brown Willy (highest point in Cornwall), Heligan, Lanhydrock, Padstow, Truro, St Ives and Lands End or opt for a day trip to the Scilly Isles.
