Dog friendly and a hit with ramblers and those who enjoy messing about in boats, as the cottage is situated close to the western side of Derwentwater lake and also to fantastic fells and mountains. Wonderfully located in the north of the Lake District National Park.

Located just outside the chaos of the Lake District honeypot towns, we are just 5 mins from Caldbeck in the Lake District, 20 mins from Keswick & Derwentwater, 30 mins from the Solway Coast & 20 mins from the City of Carlisle.

We are dog friendly. Our 250 year old cottage features modern rustic decor, u/f heating, log burner, super-fast internet, Smart TV, Sonos sound system and a complimentary podPoint 7kw EV charger. There are many wonderful walks and bike rides available from the front door. Stays start Mondays or Fridays.

Brigston Cottage is one of the oldest in the hamlet. It is centrally located in the heart of Dumfries and Galloway Ideal for exploring the whole area.

At our cosy cottage you will enjoy panoramic views of the sea, mountains and picturesque landscape. Experience the beauty of Strangford Lough from your own private hot tub. Our modern cottage is only 5 minutes walk to the beautiful town of Kircubbin and a short drive to Greyabbey and Mount stewart. Cook local prawns on the BBQ and explore the history of the lough by paddleboard. With the water so close, wake up to the sounds, views & smell of the sea.

Sea Glass Cottage - Beachfront cottage

Sea Glass Cottage is a beachfront holiday home with views over the dunes to the Solway Firth and Scotland beyond. Our guests tell us that the sunset views from the conservatory are breathtaking. The cottage has been tastefully updated and decorated by the owners with all amenities for modern living but retaining a quirky, seaside charm. Sleeps 5 plus a baby, no smoking, WiFi, dog-friendly. We charge £25 per dog.

2-bed cottage, walking distance to village & water

Use this cottage to relax after a long day hiking, mountain biking in the forest or kayaking on Coniston water. Walking distance to Coniston village, multiple places to access the water and free parking on site you will barely need to use your car. If you fancy a walk up the old man of Coniston or a trip to Tarn Hows you can access all of these places on foot. Two bedroom, one bathroom cottage.
