Located in the rugged hills just 3 miles from downtown Salida, and 2 miles from extensive hiking and mountain biking trails, this home offers the perfect combination of rural quiet and small town amenities. Several of the home's stylish features were constructed from barn wood salvaged from an old Missouri farm, as well as other recycled materials, thanks to the owners' earth-conscious habits (and impeccable taste!)

It feels like you are in the country but only minutes from town, the Arkansas River, and trails. A great place to stay while whitewater rafting the Royal Gorge, mtn biking, climbing, or just want to take in a meal downtown and relax on the private deck. The studio offers a queen size bed and a small couch that folds out into a bed.

Our mountain home is great for family gatherings, friends and children of all ages! This unique cabin was built by a local lumberjack and has a custom carving of Paul Bunyan in the living room. It is on the south end of town, about 5 min. from historic downtown. Rafting, hiking, zip lining, the Royal Gorge are all just minutes away from this comfortable stay. Upon request we also offer mindfulness meditation . Perfect for a single guest. We offer free parking. Our neighborhood is very peaceful. We allow one guest only.
