Within 10 minutes to the tourist town of Bright, and in close proximity to skiing and snow boarding at Falls Creek and Mt Hotham, a short 45 minute drive away. Horse stays are also an option, with trail riding close by!

This unique and tranquil experience, Your very own mud brick miners cottage on a lavender farm that has fantastic views. 5km to Bright. Also near by is the Rail trail, Golf course and walking tracks, Mount Buffalo and its historic chalet. With an adequate equipped kitchen and a BBQ on your own veranda.Great sunsets, starry nights, wood fire and a nearby mountain stream also on the property. The lavender is in flower from around mid Dec before getting harvested in Feb to make essential oil.

A short leafy 5-min stroll to Bright's best restaurants, cafes and local shops. MTB, Trail running and wildlife abound from the front door. Avalon Mist is the perfect haven between adventures.

The Nest

Tucked in behind the little boutique clothing shop called Chooks, there are cafes and restaurants literally on your doorstep! The Murray to Mountains Rail Trail is right on our doorstep and we are also directly behind the Bright golf course- so pack your clubs! From Green Gables, it is an easy walk, ride or drive into the township of Bright with its boutique shops and eateries, regular festivals and of course beautiful European style landscape all nestled in the foothills of the Victorian Alps.

Bushies Love Shack

Welcome to Bushies Love Shack. The naming of the love shack came about upon purchasing the property some 8 years ago. Fay's father, at the time 90 years of age, and his girlfriend, 91 years of age, automatically named it the Love Shack as they envisaged, once renovated, them sitting in bed, playing cards and taking in the view and so the name stuck. In keeping with the name, we have created a luxurious, romantic space for two.

Views across the mountains, this cosy retreat is ideal for a weekend away with your loved one to relax and unwind. Close to Bright bike trails, walking tracks, shops & restaurants. Also Ski resorts in Winter. Dog friendly only. Dogs not left unattended on the property. Bikes welcome.
