Spring Cottage, a cosy cotswold stone cottage

Our cottage sleeps 5-6 and is nestled in the Cotswold escarpment below Rodborough Common with over 300 acres of open countryside giving dramatic views over Stroud and the Severn Vale. Off the beaten track but only a short walk to Stroud. A great place to stay anytime of the year but with a woodburner it is very cosy in the winter. Only 1.5hrs by train from London. Loads of good walks nearby inc Cotswold Way. Short drives to Bristol, Cirencester, Gloucester and Cheltenham. Highchair,cot, stairgate available.

All the Cotswold favourites, Bibury, Bourton on the Water, The Slaughters, Bath a short drive away. Call into the Jolly Nice Cafe on your way to Cirencester. Nearby is the disused Thames Severn Canal with its delightful paths to Sapperton and Stroud. There is also a wide variety of beautiful wooded, grassland and meadow walks. The cottage is self contained, beautifully presented and in the heart of the very friendly village of Chalford with delightful village shop. secure off-road parking.
