We are situated in a quiet rural setting but only 10 minutes drive from the A55 expressway 7 miles from Mold and 20 miles from Chester. We are ideally placed for a peaceful getaway break, easy access to the Clwydian Hills, the North Wales Coast and Halkyn Mountain Common. We are within close distance to several traditional village pubs and local historic sights.

It is a central location for exploring the surrounding areas including Snowdonia National Park & taking advantage of all that North wales has to offer, country walks, coastal walks, waterfalls, Conwy Castle & country pubs are all plentiful. Chester Roman City & racecourse are 30 minutes drive & Manchester & Liverpool are just 1 hour away.

Secluded dog friendly apartment nestled in the Welsh borders Newly renovated, the accommodation forms part of an old watermill with its own access via an external stairs. The site is by the historic medieval market town of Ruthin, with multiple restaurants and bars (not to mention a pub within walking distance). There is secure parking and bike storage. Blaen Coed (before the woods) has a double bedroom; access is by external staircase. The apartment is self-contained and features a shower room, double bedroom and kitchen/lounge. It is equipped with four-ring cooker, microwave, fridge, and TV/DVD, iron and hairdryer. The kitchen is well equipped with utensils and condiments; there are tea-towels, detergents and cleaning products provided. Bedding and towels also provided.

The Studio at Golly Farm Cottages

The Studio is a great comfortable bolt hole, perfect for a couple or small family or the business traveller. There is a king size bed in the living room and an additional put up bed or travel cot can be added for an extra guest. Separate kitchen and shower room with a large shower, loo and small basin. There is one step down to the kitchen and shower room - the floor is wooden and the living area is carpeted.
