Welcome to a charming, cosy house in Øyane. The house is located right next to a lake where you can enjoy fishing, swimming, canoeing, and kayaking. In winter, the lake is often suitable for ice skating. The surrounding mountains offer beautiful hiking trails, including the popular route to Vetlevarden at Storfjella, starting just outside the front door. At the end of the lake you’ll find the impressive Hesjedalfossen waterfall, only a 20-minute drive away. A free canoe is available for guests.

The house off the beaten track. If you want be totally alone in the woods in a house steeped in history, this is the place. Most of the inventory is historically and intact. A mini museum. Close by the house runs a river where you can fish small trout or swim. There are several nice waterfalls close by. Hiking trails up the mountain starts just 200 m from the house. Her får du tilgang til et sjarmerende gammelt hus, store grøntområder, gode bademuligheter, stangfiskemuligheter og et naust med tilgang til kajakker, fiskeutstyr, uteleker, bålpanne og utemøbler. Utenfor naustet er det en stor platting og vedfyrt badestamp. Området er barne- og dyrevennlig. Vann fra brønn, drikkevann fra tank.

Outside you have your own private backyard with lots of outdoor games. From the pier you can fish, rent boat or swim. There is a 98l freezer box where you can store the fish you catch or any other food. Through our boat rental company, we are a lisenced fish camp. This means you can export up to 18kg of fish per fisherman with you out of Norway.

The busstop is 3 minutes away and you can get to the City in 30 to 40min by bus. We can help you plan your transport from the airport. There is a big garden and a park close to the appartment. We also have a private parking place for you. There are nice hiking possibilities here and on the way to the fjords/Hardanger.
