“Pierogi Night in Canada”
NEW: Fall Season options (choose 2 you would like to make for you group)
Pierogies, cabbage rolls, latkes / potato pancakes, Gintaras "amber" hangover breakfast (which I associated as a holiday brunch as a child every Christmas guaranteed)
In all cultural traditions, food is only one aspect but yet it is probably one of the most persistent. There is no cultural group and no individual for whom at least one specific food – the memory, taste, or smell of which – does not evoke a pang of loving nostalgia, our family, friends and the familiar.
Come and learn a-boot Canadiana by sharing 1 hour in the kitchen and 1 hour at the dining room table hearing our family stories, the immigrant experience and what makes us Canadian through food and stories
1 part cooking lesson, 1 part cultural experience = The Pierogi Night in Canada Experience
During our popular gathering you’ll learn:
What is Canadian culture: Including personal recipes from my own family heritage (we will make at least one recipe from scratch each evening) and then eat the benefits!
