Qué vas a hacer

We head down to meet Nani, a friend, and an artist who settled here in 1981. A longtime neighbor to Nairobi National Park, this establishment is a hidden gem. She creates beautiful artwork, jewelry & home decor using recycled glass & scrap metal. You get to witness how the glass mosaic artwork is made, get lost in the beautiful scenery, view the glass artwork & decor in the gallery, take a walk on the hanging rope & glass bridge over the scenic gorges and share some snacks on the beautiful gorges overlooking the river. You can also opt to swim, ride horses or camels if you have a moment to spare. The mosaic animals, psychedelic buildings with dome-shaped rooftops, mosaic-covered pathway & benches will all make you feel like you stumbled down a rabbit hole into Alice's Wonderland. You can even opt to get a cottage if you want to spend the night. You get to experience a magical slice of Nairobi's adventures, away from the hustle & bustle of the city.
Other things to note
There are dogs and pet birds at the establishment. Guests need to be comfortable around these animals.

From the travellers (my mom 66 and son 5 years old): The beginning through the city, as a first time visitor, is itself a lovely experience. Our host Fatma is a mine of information. Inside the glass studio, the artwork was revealing and beautiful! The fact that it is such a massive recycling project is itself a cause of hope. That Fatma has designed a tour around it is amazing. The glass bridge is a fun challenge! My five year old grandson and I found the walk most thrilling...the ice-cream and the camel ride ended the day perfectly. The staff are exceptionally courteous and kind and our our young tour guide was amazing. We highly recommend this tour!
