This was one of our favorite experiences of our entire trip. Kerry and Horizon were so knowledgeable and so friendly. I learned so much from them and at the same time felt like I made friends with them. The unique perspective of hearing how this city came to be through the help of so many incredible women was really refreshing. This is truly a behind the scenes telling of Savannah’s history that sadly you won’t get anywhere else since these women go almost completely unrecognized and not memorialized in any of the squares and statues and history books. But what makes this tour 5 stars and a must on your to-do list is the passion both Kerry and Horizon have for the subject. Their love for the history and these amazing women is front and center throughout the entire tour. And it’s infectious! It really makes this tour so special. Honestly, I’ll take the tour again the next time I’m in town. We loved it that much.
