You’ll be welcomed into my home and we’ll make the lightest Victoria sponge you’ve ever tasted, sandwiched with light, fluffy vanilla buttercream (which I’ll show you how to pipe) and raspberry jam. While the sponge is cooking and cooling, we’ll whip up a batch of decadent but very delicious chocolate orange cupcakes, using another method of making sponge. After a quick break for a cup of tea and a chat, we’ll pipe buttercream on to the cupcakes and learn some piping techniques along the way. All cakes will be made using eggs from my own hens.
During your visit I’ll be teaching you some of my special tips and tricks and of course I’ll be able to answer any baking questions you may have.
At the end you’ll be able to take home your goodies (boxes provided) and I’ll also provide you with recipes so you can recreate it all again when you get home.
