This is a little slice of Heaven… Your cabin has high bluff waterfront amazing views, overlooking the Salish Sea… It literally overlooks Freshwater Bay, Vancouver Island, & San Juan Islands, & Victoria BC. (Walking access is only 2 mi away). We are nestled in the middle of the gateway to Olympic National Park, and everything this area has to offer. We are only 10 miles from Port Angeles. And, we know you will enjoy and love your stay, "By the Sea".

The Owls Perch Treehouse ~Luxury Treetop Retreat~

A truly unique treehouse perched 30 feet high among the trees. This amazing structure is attached to 3 large cedars and 1 giant maple using advanced tree tabs that allow the trees to sway gently, providing a natural and immersive experience. Once tucked back into the woods, this newly improved 1920s cabin now enjoys a front-row seat to the grandeur of the Hood Canal thanks to a tidal creek that has washed away the sandy soil that once supported the departed trees. This property may prove challenging for individuals with mobility issues. **Pricing is discounted due to ongoing improvements. Tools and materials are kept out of sight, but you may notice some unfinished details. Due to continued progress, appearance may vary.

You may wake up to the sound of a rooster crowing as you steep a fresh cup of coffee before you head out on your adventure exploring all the Olympic Peninsula has to offer.

Welcome, Hikers! Our 30 acre property adjoins the verdant lowland forest of Olympic National Park. From the shared patio, sit and enjoy your coffee or wine and look right down the Elwha Valley to the majestic Olympic Mountains with a view of the Elwha River and Mt. Carrie glacier. The Hiker's Cabin serves as an ideal base for daily excursions to explore Olympic National Park and local beaches. Walk directly from the Hiker’s Cabin onto trails leading into the park!

Just 3 min by car from Freshwater Bay boat launch, with the Olympic National Park, Olympic Discovery trail, and sandy beaches of Salt Creek recreation area all within 10-15 minutes away. We are not waterfront.

River House is a 2672sf home on a high bank above the Elwha River across from the Olympic National Park. A deck with a barbeque and a hot tub has views of the River and mountains. The clean air of the Olympics makes for brilliant stars in the deep blue night sky.
