The Birdnest

Relax & unwind at this unique and tranquil getaway. It's all about the views, cosy atmosphere, serenity & proximity to Dungog services. With a wrap-around balcony on two sides, the view from both inside & outside takes in glimpses of Barrington Tops National Park to the north, expansive views of surrounding farms, valleys & hills to the east & south, and the township of Dungog below. The native birds at dusk are a delight. "The Birdnest" is ideal for up to 2 couples, or a family of 4 (or 5?).

Socialise with your family or holiday companions on our backyard table. Supermarket, bakery, bottle shop, pharmacy, club are only 400 metres away. Strictly no pets allowed. We cannot provide a tax invoice/receipt.

The verandah is one of our favourite spots, whether you’re relaxing with a book or sharing a sunset drink with views of the Great Dividing Range. Only 2 1/2 hr drive north of Sydney or 1 hour from Newcastle - Bundera Lodge is a cosy timber home set on 3 acres of private bush land and part of the 1000 acre Eaglereach Highland Park community that encompasses Mt George & the Moonabung Mountain Range . Situated privately away from other lodges within the park Bundera Lodge has 2 upstairs bedrooms with 2 queen beds + 2 king singles.
