During winter the house is also warm and cosy with floor heating. 4 canoes are available for you. Boats can be rented in the area, rental bikes delivered to the house. Free parking. The nearest beaches are Wassenaarse slag & Scheveningen, both a short distance away and easily reached by bicycle or by car. Public transport is a 3-minute walk away. Het appartement is op loopafstand van hartje centrum, supermarkt, bakker, slager en delicatessen zaakjes en maar 10 minuten fietsen naar het strand van Scheveningen. Het gehele huis is recent verbouwd waarbij we zoveel mogelijk orginele details hebben bewaard.

It has a private entrance and features free parking. Wassenaar is a lovely small town with fine restaurants within 5 minutes walk from the house. An ideal place to stay for exploring (on bike) The Hague, Delft, Leiden, Amsterdam and the coastal resorts, or for a medium stay for expat families in transition.

This sunny, spacious private floor has its own livingroom with a balcony, a pantry microwave), a big bedroom with adjacent bathroom. The apartment is perfectly situated in The Hague's old "Statenkwartier" (Scheveningen) and is a great base for cycling trips, hikes and cultural activities. The harbour, the beach and nice restaurants are close by. Tram nr 17 and 11 stop right around the corner and brings you to the city-center within several minutes. The beach is only a 14 minute walk away.

Onze B&B is voorzien van alle moderne faciliteiten zoals bijvoorbeeld een moderne keuken, Philips hue verlichting, smart TV en Quooker. De gezellige veranda is compleet met een luxe jacuzzi en houtkachel. De B&B met grote privétuin en vrij uitzicht is door een schutting volledig afgeschermd van de woonboerderij en alleen voor u als gast toegankelijk. Vanuit de Finse barrelsauna op het aangrenzende terras kijkt u uit over de pittoreske stadsweiden. Een heerlijk ontbijt naar wens is optioneel.

Wij bieden tevens mogelijkheid om zowel de Vliet en omliggende plassen als het centrum van Leiden te verkennen op een luxe sloep, in overleg is hierin veel mogelijk.

Brugwachtershuisje Wijkerbrug

Geniet van dit monumentale huisje gelegen aan de Vliet, direct naast de brug. Het huisje is het woongedeelte van een voormalige boerderij, jarenlang gebruikt als brugwachters post. De brug wordt nu op afstand bediend, daarmee verloor het huisje haar functie. Nu is het een heerlijke en prachtige plek geworden om te genieten van het leven aan het water. Ons gezellige knusse chalet ligt tegen het mooie natuurgebied Lentevreugd aan en op 4 km van het strand. Rust, vrijheid en iedere avond een prachtige zonsondergang. Voor uw deur lopen regelmatig Schotse Hooglanders en Konik paarden. Het chalet ligt achter onze tulpenkwekerij en biedt ruimte voor max 3/4 pers. Door de afgesloten tuin is het chalet ook ideaal voor jonge gezinnen
