The property around the cabin has many unique rock formations & a few small canyons that are great for exploring. The property is bordered on the East by the State Park & on the West by a 9000 acres Wildlife Management Area. A boat ramp is 5 min away & the State Park beach is 15 min from the cabin.

It’s close to a lot of reservoirs. They are great for fishing, swimming, and boating in the summer. It is central to great hunting areas. We are 1 hr from Vernal and 45 min. from the base of the rockies and book cliffs. Whether you come to play and hunt or just a family vacation, the river house is perfect.

Rancho Sin Vacas is a beautiful, 12-acre property on the N. Fork of the Duchesne River at the base of the Ashley National Forest in Hanna, UT, 78 miles east of SLC. The cabin has an updated kitchen, dining, living with new sofa sleeper, bath, bedroom, bedroom cantilevered over river, deck, and fire pit. The cantilevered room is the only legal cantilevered structure over the river. It has 2 ponds, 2 canals, 4 llamas, and 1 alpaca. It is the perfect river retreat!
