The Bothy is a rural, coastal, studio cottage.

This unique place has a style all of its own. The Bothy is newly renovated and offers a peaceful, coastal getaway for 2. It is a twin bedded studio cottage with a separate bathroom and shower. There is a microwave, electric hob, toaster and kettle in the kitchen area. Dining table and chairs. Wall mounted TV and WiFi. There are several quiet beaches with wonderful coastlines to explore within walking distance. There is also the stunning St Medan Golf Course that welcomes visitors all year round.

The Gardeners Cottage @ Corvisel - cosy & quirky!

The Gardeners Cottage is set within the walled gardens of Corvisel House, built by Rear Admiral John McKerlie in 1829. We have restored the cottage in a vintage, quirky style with Donegal & Harris tweed soft furnishings & floral accents to reflect the glorious garden outside! It's located at the edge of Newton Stewart so very handy for evening strolls to the eateries in town. You can take walks in our small forest from the courtyard & hang out in the walled garden - green fingers are welcomed!!

Wren's nest

Wrens nest is a cozy one-room cottage with an open plan design that combines charm with functionality. The main room features a simple layout where the bed, sofa and kitchen area share the same space. The comfortable oak framed bed has neutral linens and bedside tables with reading lamps. The two seater sofa has small foldable tables for dining. The kitchen occupies one wall with simple cabinets, two burner hob, fridge, microwave and small air fryer. The shower room has wc & sink with storage.

Stone cottage

Lovely 200 year old fully modernised cottage with fully fitted modern kitchen for guests to use. We provide a food cupboard with tea, coffee and cereal etc. We leave bread and milk , and soft drinks. If you require anything else, please let us know . Convenient downstairs toilet and an ensuite upstairs . Free wifi. Set within 5 acres of it's own land and situated in the beautiful countryside of Wigtownshire, South West Scotland. We started this listing in 2013 but only put the bare essentials in. Only today, April 4 2018 have we actually finished it. This is why we have had no guests or reviews from Airbnb so far! You can find 5-star reviews for us on Trip Advisor.

Back Lodge. Alticry Farm

Well appointed cottage with spectacular setting and very private. Panoramic views over Luce Bay. Mull of Galloway lighthouse is the view from your double bed. Please note electric cars can be charged at Wigtown or Whithorn. Fast charges 50kw and 25p/kilowatt. Cottage wiring and fuses not suitable. The low power adds 4miles per charge and puts a great strain on the wiring/fuses. Like leaving a 8 bar heater on therefore not available at the cottage.
