Get back to the best things about life! Relax in our quiet cove. Our quaint home is tucked away in a wooded corner on Lake Sebec. We invite you to explore the lake and land. Go for walks, swim, kayak, boat, hike, or hang back and read, play games, make a meal with friends, or work, if you must. Warm up by the indoor fireplace after a nearby hike on a brisket autumn eve or roast marshmallows on the outdoor fire pit. Sit down by the lake and take in the life that surrounds you.

Rustic Country Apartment on The Moosehead Trail.

We recently acquired the house we live in which has an efficiency apartment in the back. It is cozy and private. The house is old and unique. It was previously a long term rental. We wanted to provide a restful space in the heart of Maine Highlands, the crossroads of Central Maine. We enjoy the scenic area with beautiful lakes rivers, multiuse trail systems and trail head of the 100 mile wilderness of the Appalachian Trail, Moosehead lake, Maine's largest lake, and State Parks.

Trailside Cabin In Perfect Location!

Trailside cabin with lots of opportunity! Hiking, Hunting, Fishing, Swimming, and ATV/Snowmobile trail runs right through property. Moosehead Lake, Greenville, The Forks, Bingham, The Windmills all close by. The Appalachian Trail borders the property. Hike Borestone Mtn, Barren Mtn, Big Squaw, or the AT. Town beach is also close by for swimming in Lake Hebron. Park your truck and ride your ATV/Snowmobile to several restaurants, gas stations, grocery stores, lakes, and mountains.

Upta Camp

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Take a hike down one of the trails out back, or swim in the cool clear water of the spring fed pond off the back porch. Cozy up during a storm by the fire with a good book, or wet a line on a clear morning off the back steps and catch supper! It’s all in one comfy cabin property to get away from it all. Only a few miles to Dover-Foxcroft, or Sebec Lake. Far enough away to get away, but close enough to the amenities and sights.

The Boathouse Cottage is a cozy studio cottage with a deck overhanging Sebec Lake. Think elevated “glamping!” Studio has a queen bed w/linens, full futon and sitting area. Bathroom with shower includes towels. Kitchenette has dishes, utensils, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and toaster oven (no stove). Furnished porch has tabletop Weber grill with fuel. Shared dock and fire pit. Owners onsite at adjacent camp. Peaceful lakeside setting perfect for relaxing getaways.

Perched above the Piscataquis River, this historic barn was beautifully renovated into a rustic luxury retreat. Two full stories plus a loft, with relaxing river views on all levels. Gourmet kitchen/dining area with a fireplace & a cozy yet spacious lounge upstairs. Enjoy the garden and patio overlooking the river or unwind in the luxurious copper soaking tub in the loft. Designed for a couple & perfect for romantic getaways, yet comfortable to sleep up to 4 guests.

Charming, Year Round Lake Front Camp

We grew up spending our summers on Sebec Lake, and there's a reason the state motto is 'The Way Life Should Be'. This camp is lake front property, with outdoor seating, dining and swimming steps from the back door. The spacious layout of the camp provides the perfect family friendly escape any time of the year! In the winter there is plenty of ice fishing and snowmobile trails in the area, so it's the perfect place to share time with family and friends year-round!

The cabin is extremely comfortable with all new appliances. You will feel like you are home away from home. Go exploring on your snowmobile or side by side with The All Season Adventure Trail system. Or ITS 85 trail system right from the cabins. & ITS 82 when you come into town.

ATV trails, Ammenities, restaurants, movie theatre, shops are only a five drive into Dover-Foxcroft and Sebec Lake and Peaks Kenny State Park are only 15 minutes away. Monson, Greenville, Moosehead Lake are all within an hour drive. Hunters welcome also! This is a great central location to access all the outdoor adventures Maine has to offer!
