The Red House on Cross Lake

This is a Cross Lake cabin that we renovated from an old catfish restaurant built in the early 1930's. We call it the RED HOUSE. There are three cabins on the property that we also use for visiting family and friends. We live on the property behind the houses and we all use the property and pier. Guest also have use of the pier/boat house. The house is at the end of the road on the lake. Although family also uses the property the cabin is quiet and private with a great view of the open lake.

Waterfront - The Red Camp at Lake Bistineau

Nestled on a quiet curve of Lake Bistineau, The Red Camp is ready to welcome you to lake views with Spanish moss draped cypress trees and amazing sunsets! Lake is now at full pool and ready for swimming, kayaking, and fishing through the end of July and a bit beyond! The annual drawdown starts usually in late July, so if you are reserving for fall or winter, please inquire as to the Lake level. 450 square foot Waterfront cabin on lake Claiborne 5 miles from downtown homer la. Fishing/ boat dock located on the property for guest use. There is a community boat launch adjacent to property. There is an additional cabin on the property that sleeps 6 that can be rented separately. This cottage started out as a snow cone stand built in Ruston Louisiana that was moved to Lake Claiborne in 2020 and was stripped down to the studs and turned into a 1 bedroom tiny home.
