We have loved creating this space - with some elements which only make sense in dreams - after all... ZNMD ! It's a bit filmy (read LOTR inspired elements), a little rough around the edges (aren't we all) and perpetually a work in progress 😊 10mins from Bhimtal - two AC bedrooms with lofts, comfortable living space, kitchenette, large sit out space and the beauty of nature all around! And yes - very poor cell coverage. The sound of the stream is a constant companion and deer sometimes visit !

With gorgeous mountain views, large outdoors, birdwatching, hikes, and modern amenities, this place is for tranquility and slowness. You must walk 10 minutes to get here. There is a climb back. A 10min walk down from the road or a 3 minute trek, you need to be mildly adventurous and fit to get here. Shops are a 2minute drive or 15minute walk.

The last 7 years have been an incredible learning experience. Since we moved to the village, the priorities have changed. There was a sense of discovery in everything we did. There were chai-filled conversations with elders and young turks and stories on how homes and communities were built. It's these learnings that led us to build these earth homes. Kumaon has been a great teacher. And we hope we've done justice to her sustainable ways.
