Breckon cottage, a traditional Lakeland cottage with lots of character, dating back to 1893. Located in the town of Keswick, giving direct walking access to the stunning local fells. The town centre is a short 10 min stroll away through the park. Boasting large off road parking space, smart TV, wi-fi, with room for four, it's perfect for couples or families. This Lakeland cottage gives the guests a homely Lakeland experience. The cottage is situated close to the towns top pub the Pheasant Inn.

Our favourite eating places nearby are Swinside Inn and the Ivy Restaurant in Braithwaite. Keswick is a mere 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk for eating out, shopping and outdoor sports.

Two beautiful bedrooms one of which can turn into single beds and each with their own bathrooms offers flexibility for both couples and families. We have a well equipped cooks kitchen with Everhot range and a stocked larder. Parking for three cars , EV charger , bike storage , gardens and a BBQ this is a great base to enjoy the magic of our Lakeland valley.

Morven Cottage with private parking and patio

Morven Cottage is a two bedroom holiday cottage within 5 minutes walk of Keswick town centre with private parking and an outdoor patio area. The warm and comfortable accommodation sleeps up to four guests (plus a cot) and was recently extensively refurbished. Changeover days are typically Monday and Friday. One or two well-behaved dogs (restricted to downstairs and not allowed on the furniture) are welcome. Smoking is not permitted in the cottage. 10% discount for full week bookings.

The famous Coledale horseshoe ridge walk starts and finishes in the village. The popular mountain biking trail centre at Whinlatter Forrest is less than 2 miles from the cottage.

The cottage resides within our farm, Terrace Farm with open countryside and panoramic views of the Lakeland Fells and numerous Wainwrights including Melbreak, Whiteside, Low Fell, Hopegillhead to name but a few.
