Little Minka - Japanese House in the Woods

Little Minka. A serene Japanese folk house nestled on 10 acres of private woodland and streams. Embracing the Wabi-Sabi, Little Minka is unique, handcrafted using Japanese traditional carpentry joinery methods. Soaring ceilings, shoji, and tatami complete the interior. Outside there's a fire pit, open cooking area. We have a wood fired hot tub available on request from March - November. We have Japanese bathroom products in partnership with sowakanyc that guests can experience.

This gorgeous one room cottage sits at the top of the main property-our wedding couple's favorite. Relax on your private deck. Perfect for sipping your morning coffee, unwinding with a glass of wine, or stargazing under clear Catskill Mountain skies. Experience the serenity of nature. Private driveway allows you to pull right up to your cottage. Features a sitting area with a comfortable couch, a Keurig, compact mini-fridge, custom-tile bathroom, oversized shower, radiant heating.

Shawangunk House

The house was built in 2018. It is very modern and open. It is located 8 minutes from Minnewaska State Park, 10 minutes from the Mohonk Preserve, and 30 minutes from the Catskills. There is a Smart TV. There is also a record player with a large record selection. There is strong WIFI and great cell phone coverage from all carriers. We have an EV level 2 charger. There is an additional charge to use the charger. Please contact us if you want to add charging to your stay.
