This recently renovated barn is in a country setting a mile from Orton village in the Westmorland Dales bordering the Lake District National park. Approx 5 minutes from J38 &39 of M6, in easy reach of Orton village’s amenities of pub, cafe, shop, chocolate factory and local farm shop. Ideal as base a for exploring the local area or a stopover en-route to & from the north. Dogs welcome with enclosed garden and walks from the doorstep. Adjoins The Smithy to accommodate upto 9 guests

Barn annexe La’L Skaithe

2 miles from Kirby Stephen, annexe to the main house with own entrance and use of garden in front of the property, outdoor seating. Own front door and a small porch area . We welcome dogs to stay. Bathroom with step into the large shower and non slip mat available , a living and kitchen area with a comfy sofa, table and chairs and a cooker and hob ( no cooker extractor) microwave and fridge. A door leads off the living and kitchen area to a bedroom with double bed and wardrobe.

The deep pool below the falls is ideal for cold-water swimming. Perfect for a romantic getaway, or watching abundant birds and wildlife, for honeymoons, anniversaries or engagements! Reconnect with nature at this special holiday cottage situated within the Eden valley. Guests are welcome to come and enjoy a hands on experience of ‘life on the farm’. Located within the Yorkshire Dales and just 10 minutes from the Lake District, making us the ideal base to explore everything the area has to offer. The cottage has been lovingly restored from its former glory as a farm workers cottage and many original features have been maintained.

Smardale Mill Shepods “The Ash”

Escape, relax and unwind at smardale mill Shepods. This holiday accommodation is a mixture between a shepherds hut and a glamping pod but more luxurious! Each shepod sleep two guests with the option of two further guests ( ideally children) on the sofa bed. Towels and beddings are supplied for two guests, however we ask that the two extra guests supply their own bedding. Each shepod has under floor heating making it the perfect stay all year round!
