Superbly Situated in a beautiful tranquil setting on the shores of the renowned Lough Mask, popular for its trout fishing.The Market Town of Ballinrobe is a short drive away, as is the famous Ashford Castle, Cong, and Clonbur, leading westwards into Connemara with its abundance of mountains and beaches.Knock Airport less than an hour, Shannon Airport approx two hours, and Dublin Airport three hours. Galway City with its wealth of Culture, the Arts, Theatre and Fine Restaurants is an hour away

Cosy Cottage

Kick back and relax in this calm, cosy space in the rolling countryside and just a 40 minute drive from Knock Airport. For something more lively there’s Westport and Castlebar, with their shops, bars and the beautiful coastline and beaches of the Wild Atlantic Way. The 2 friendly cats, Muffin and Bruce, prefer to live outside but like to say hello. When not away working, I stay in a chalet on a separate piece of land close by but not overlooking the cottage. I do respect guest privacy.

A lovely spacious bungalow that is the perfect base for exploring the west & north west of Ireland. Only 15 minutes from Ireland West Airport, Knock, our place is located on the Sligo / Mayo border in a beautiful rural location surrounded by farmland and lots of peace & tranquility !! The house is equipped with free Wifi, Oil Fired Central Heating and all the conveniences that you would expect in a home away from home. Our place comfortably sleeps 8 people with a cot available if needed.

Approximately 300 meters from the pier and swimming area on the beautiful northern shores of Lake Corrib, Irelands premier trout and salmon fishing lake. Local Pub & Shop are walking distance. We are located approximately 10K from Cong and historic Ashford Castle. 10 K to the west are the beautiful Maamturk mountains offering exceptional hill walking opportunities. Leenane and Killary Fjord is a short drive west.

With fabulous views across Clew bay from the Kitchen/diner and front room & beautiful views of Croagh Patrick from the back. 10 minute walk to Lecanvey Pier, beach church and pub. 7km to the town of Louisburgh which has gorgeous blue flag beaches (Old Head, silver strand) and 14km to the pretty vibrant town of Westport, where you will be spoilt for choice of bars and restaurants.,
