The Beara Bus....with Awesome Views

The Beara Bus is a unique living space situated on the coastline with stunning views across the Atlantic to the Sheeps Head and Mizen Head Peninsulas and Bere Island. The entrance to the harbour of Castletownbere ( Irelands second largest fishing port) can be seen with the daily coming and goings of the fishing fleet. We are a 20 minute drive from Midleton town and 10 minutes off the N25 Cork-Waterford road. Brilliant for an individual, a family or couples. The cottage boasts a bright living area with high ceilings and a South/West facing private patio.

Beautifully converted using natural building materials, the space is light, peaceful and open, heated with a cosy wood burner. The interior is handmade, restored or salvaged by us. We provide sourdough, homemade jam, a homemade tipple & a few staples on arrival. A rural retreat right in the heart of vibrant West Cork.

A 15 / 20 minute drive from Killarney on route to the famous Ring of Kerry in the middle of the Reeks District voted in the top 5 destinations to visit in the Rough Guide. 7 minutes to Killorglin the home of Puck Fair the oldest festival in Ireland. This cottage is set at the foot of the McGillycuddy Reeks with a view of Carrantuohill. Perfect for hiking, walking and cycling... The space sleeps 2 people. The heating is electric. The stove in not in use for burning fuel ....

Cozy Cabin in our garden

We have a cozy guest cabin in our garden. It is situated behind our cottage We live roughly 4 miles outside Kinsale in a charming rural area. All narrow roads. It is very relaxing, a perfect place to chill, while being 10 minutes drive from the tourist town. If you are contemplating a visit this year we advise booking prior to 19th May if possible. We just love meeting our guests from all parts of the Globe. Note: No public transport from Kinsale
