Tucked away on the outskirts of sleepy Lympsham, enjoy the countryside around you whilst resting your legs after walking the renowned mendips. Enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the many birds in the surrounding trees or be a little more adventurous with the numerous local cycle routes. We look forward to meeting you on your stay. Relax in the hot tub spa after a busy day or share a drink on the tree deck built into a 400 year old Oak tree. Cook in a fully equipped kitchen or enjoy the rain whilst sat in a rocking chair. Snooze in a hammock and then relax in front of a film before heading to a comfy king size bed.

Inside, the cosy lounge area with woodburner leads into the open plan kitchen, king-size bedroom & en-suite. With its rustic design & new fittings - the Chicken House is truly unique Ideal location, only 5 mins from main trunk road access, yet this part of the Blackdown Hills is virtually silent

Cosy cottage with large inglenook fireplace

This cottage is 300 years old and has a wonderful inglenook fireplace and old beams. There is a great village pub just 400 yards away, which is dog friendly. There are lovely country walks straight from the cottage. We are next door to the property which is semi detached. We will welcome you on arrival but then leave you entirely to enjoy your holiday. We are always on hand to offer advice and tips for your holiday. One well behaved dog is always welcome. We charge £30 for a dog please.

Whether you're watching the sunrise or looking up to the stars you'll find yourself never wanting to leave this nature haven.

Peace and Tranquillity -Hot Tub- Dog Friendly

Secluded cottage with outstanding 360 degree views of Blackdown Hills, AOB. The cottage is bright and airy, well decorated with quality furnishings, Large gardens with shrubs, flowers, trees, Jacuzzi, swings and trampoline. There is a well fitted kitchen, utility and large Conservatory. Our dog friendly cottage sits 100 metres from the lane, where parking is available. Access is via a gate and a mowed path leads up across a field to the cottage. (No vehicle access - see photos.)

The Roost

The Roost is a unique 1 bed property nestled within the Quantock Hills (AONB). Its tranquil secluded setting has far reaching and panoramic views over the Brendon Hills and Exmoor. A stones throw away from the Roost are extensive bridal and footpaths onto the Quantock Hills, where you can enjoy a number of activities all surrounded by an abundance of wildlife and picturesque views. Our aim, to try and share our little piece of green countryside with our guests and create a place to relax in comfort away from your everyday cares and stress. This is the sister unit to the Oak Escape and both can be booked together to create space for parties of up to 8.
