This location offers magnificent views towards Snowdonia. (Please note both huts with stable and barn are for your exclusive use, whether you’re a couple or a party of 6 people) The Shepherds Huts are the bedrooms and the Stable and Barn is your daytime accommodation. The shepherds hut with a door on the side sleeps 4 with a bunk bed at one end and a double bed at the other.  The ‘pointed’ roof hut has a double bed and sleeps 2.  Both have woodburning stoves and electrics (lights and sockets).

It also combines the romance and cosiness of a traditional hut, with the modern conveniences of an attached shower room and entrance porch that gives you plenty of space to store muddy boots or clothing and kit, leaving the hut free of clutter.

The hut sits alone on a large open lawn that you have to yourselves, there is a double bed with new memory foam mattress, sofa bed, kitchen, private shower/toilet block. Spend your days walking, hiking, cycling, mountain biking, kayaking….. or just relaxing. Well behaved dogs are welcome. Horses welcome at extra cost.

You will also have exclusive access to a charming Summer house equipped with basic kitchen facilities, table and chairs, and a sofa. We are surrounded by stunning views down the valley and of rolling Welsh hills, but only a 2 minute drive from the A5.

The hut features a king-size bed with memory foam mattress, smart TV, coffee machine and the only one of our huts with its own log burner for cosy evenings inside. Outside you’ll find an enclosed garden with seating, barbecue, chiminea and a private wood-fired hot tub – perfect for relaxing under the stars. Snowdonia Shepherds' Huts, nr Betws y Coed

Both of our traditional shepherds' huts are exclusively yours for the duration of your stay. One hut has a wood-burning stove, a double bed, Welsh blankets and a sheepskin rug. The other has a toilet, shower, wash basin & wood-burning sauna. The fully equipped outdoor kitchen is under a cover with gas bbq, two gas burners, a fridge, picnic table, & a fire pit. No mobile signal, internet access, or TV. No traffic, no neighbours. Just peace, tranquility and the sounds of nature.

Set in the Clocaenog forest next to the Afon Alwen, this remote getaway offers you the chance to unwind and take in the natural beauty that North Wales has to offer. We are surrounded by forest or farming land with sheep and cattle grazing. Bird watching is hard to avoid as there are an abundance of different species, including buzzards, kites and ospreys all seen locally. For the more adventurous zip world, surf Snowdonia, and high ropes are all easy to access.
