The Studio Somers

Once a beach shack, became an artist’s studio, then rescued as a comfortable home and holiday escape, close to the beach and Somers General Cafe. A wonderful place to sit and relax, walk on the beach or explore local wineries and farm produce. In order to safely manage the conditions brought with COVID (and maintain our low tariff) we introduced a 3 night minimum. We are now able to offer a 2 night stay but this is at a higher rate than a stay for 3 nights or more. Please enquire for the rate.

The space is fully self contained with a great kitchen if you’d prefer to eat in. The gateway to the Mornington Peninsula to explore the extensive wineries in the region.

Fig cottage is a short walk to the wonderful beach and cafes of Dromana and a short drive to the delightful wineries of Red Hill. The cottage boasts a wood heater, TV, Wi-Fi, coffee machine and laundry. The two bedrooms sleep 5 with comfortable mattresses and the cottage has a renovated bathroom.
