The first thing you notice here is the incredible stillness as you take in the dramatic view of clouds scraping the top of the Glassy Mountain 1200' above. Enjoy a morning espresso on the yoga platform in the trees 40' feet above the creek and then cool off after a hike/bike/paddle in the outdoor shower. If your idea of a vacation is serenity and relaxation, then the Deerfield Cottage is for you. The property sits on 12 acres, nestled in the Wayah valley just six miles from historical Franklin, NC. In the early mornings or at dusk, look for the deer that frequent the property. Often you will see fawns frolicking in the field under the fruit trees. A 100 year old corn crib harkens back to the early days when this land was part of a working farm.
