In the pleasant village of Great Waldingfield, with a pub, village shop, and close to Sudbury (3 miles), Lavenham (4 miles), Bury St. Edmunds(16 miles). We live next door so are happy to help with directions and what to do in the area.

The Old Stables

On the Suffolk Essex border surrounded by fields, trees, and plenty of wildlife lies our old late 18th century stable building. Just 5 minutes off the A12 and you are in a different world. We live in the thatched Farm Cottage, the oldest part dating back to the 15th century and the stable is situated at the end of the drive. Excellent location for cycling (on the National Cycle Route 1), or visiting Jimmys Farm just 4.9 miles up the road. Walking is a must or just relax and unwind!

Our property is located on the outskirts of the traditional village of Kelvedon in Essex. Whether you are coming for a relaxing weekend getaway, meeting friends and family, coming for a wedding or family celebration in the area or wanting to stay longer, a warm and friendly welcome awaits you.

Stour Valley self-contained annexe set in 9 acres

The annexe is an open plan, 1st floor, ‘loft’ space, separate to the main house and set in 9 acres of meadows. A quiet place to relax and use as a base to explore East Anglia. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, you can walk the Stour Valley Path, cycle to nearby villages like Lavenham or Long Melford, or paddle board along the Stour River. Full size pool table for entertainment. Oh, and 2 fab pubs just a mile away!

The Bakehouse, Coggeshall

A beautiful, bright and spacious self-catering cottage in a converted Bake House. This one-bedroom property with space for additional guests is nestled in our garden right in the heart of beautiful Coggeshall. A moment's walk from the shops, parks and historic treasures of the village (or town, depending on who you ask!), the Bakehouse is the perfect place for a relaxing getaway.

Welcome to my cabin, set in the garden. Access to cabin through side gate/garden. Sleeps 2 on a double bed. Attached to the house is convenient use of your own downstairs shower room/toilet & kitchen area. Cabin is also a games room so guests have use of table tennis, football table, dart board and games. Parking in road just outside house.
