"Sky’s Place" Northern Lights & Alaskan Charm

Welcome to Sky’s Place. This little gem with its Alaskan charm is located just 20 minutes from grocery, local bars and restaurants. 60 min to Chena Hot Springs and 2 hours to Denali National Park. It’s a perfect romantic getaway or a cozy place to enjoy with friends. We are up in the hills facing north without city lights, allowing spectacular northern light viewing. Lots of beautiful wood accents, natural light and room darkening shades. When possible, I can offer flexible check in/out times.

Tiny House at Creamers Field

A great private location with beautiful views of nature, you will feel relaxed and at ease in this beautiful area. Look out for the Northern Lights/Aurora with no houses on the north side of the road to block any view of them. The home has a comfortable queen bed. Cook on the gas range with all the necessary cooking utensils available. The house has Wi-Fi, TV / Amazon Fire Stick to watch your favorite shows. The house includes hot water to the taps, indoor toilet and stand up shower. (see below)

Drive out of the city commotion, and stay in the beautiful hills. Quiet apartment with a king size bed north of Fairbanks. This unit has everything to make your stay comfortable. After exploring Fairbanks, you can get your gear cleaned in the washer and dryer. Sleep tight on the memory foam mattress. Create something special in the full kitchen. Work on your to-do list in the home office. Or just relax on the couch with free access to Netflix, Apple TV, and Amazon. Truly a relaxing stay.

Our home is just far enough from town to enjoy the quiet Alaskan surroundings - in the winter - beautiful snow-covered trees and northern lights and in the summer, of enjoy the mountains and midnight sun! In the winter and spring months, the Aurora is visible from the front doorstep - Check the Aurora forecast and come visit! This cozy get away is just 20 minutes from the airport, 10 minutes from the famous Pumphouse Restaurant. A great place to call home while visiting Alaska!

Get out of the city and enjoy the beauty of Alaska, 20 minutes outside of town, in this remodeled contemporary home. Surrounded by a native birch forest on 8 acres, the house backs up to the extensive Cranberry Trail system for year round non-motorized recreation. Inside, the house is full of cozy spaces to enjoy: curl up next to the wood stove with a great Alaskan book, watch chickadees flit at the bird feeder, listen to vintage records, or unwind in the meditation/sleep pod.

This newly-built log home is on 7 acres close to Fairbanks - 10 minutes from the airport and 15 minutes from downtown. No neighbors in sight and an expansive view of an Alaskan meadow with fabulous northern light watching from the downstairs bedroom and living room. The house has a cathedral ceiling, loft bedroom with private bathroom and all the amenities, including dishwasher and laundry. It's right on a bike trail and a ten-minute walk to the Tanana River.

Alaskan Forest Retreat

Beautiful and spacious daylight basement unit in the hills in west Fairbanks. Just a short 10 minute drive from the airport, but it feels like you're away from it all. This unit is located in the downstairs of our home, so you may hear the occasional pitter patter of tiny feet upstairs. We recommend AWD vehicle for winter use.
