Originally built as a coaching inn c. 1580 with the living room wing added c. 1740. The building was restored in 2018, and mixes rustic charm with contemporary design. We're only 30 minutes from Alton Towers and 15 minutes from Cannock Chase and the Shugborough Estate.

Swift Cottage is a barn conversion attached to our family home. Converted in 2021 and located on a small holding with horses, dogs and cats. A rural retreat with lovely countryside and amazing views. We are situated near to the Peak District, on the Staffordshire/Derbyshire boarder. Near to Uttoxeter, Ashbourne, Alton Towers and in easy reach of Chatsworth and Dovedale. The area offers a wide range of places to visit and things to do.

Our stylish Shepherd's Hut is perfect for a peaceful getaway. Nestled in the village of Dilhorne (just 6 miles drive to Alton Towers) enjoy stunning views and total tranquillity. Two great pubs in the village, both offering a fantastic range of food and drink. Plus beautiful, scenic footpaths right from your gate. Get cosy in our quaint Hutty/cabin it has all you need for a romantic weekend or a base for a walking holiday, Situated very close to Alton Towers and the Peak district is just a short drive away, and also some very scenic walks. unfortunately i cannot host pets or children under the age of 14,the two beds are together and are single box beds,I'm sorry but at the moment there is no WiFi on the property
