This smart self contained 2 (or 3) person accommodation is only 10 minutes from the train station, and in the country side, with plenty of walks (the historic Ridgeway, Icknield way, Ivinghoe Beacon) and Chiltern Hills & canals. A personal patio and shared cottage garden with water feature, and off road private parking includes bike storage and hot and cold bike washing facilities. Stay independently or ask for lifts to head of walking trails or bike rides. Fab Pubs, shops, restaurants nearby.

Peterhouse: luxury lodge in stunning lake location

At Cambridgeshire Lakes, we believe that your holiday should start from the moment you drive down our rural, tree-lined track and into the serenity of our stunning lakeside location. The lodge provides a stylish and comfortable accommodation for couples or groups of four people. The vaulted living area includes a large dining table, two comfy sofas surrounding the wood burner and a large flat screen Smart TV. We currently have four lodges available on the site (sleeping 16 in total).

Wood Farm, a beautiful spot in the countryside

Wood Farm is a busy working farm. Set in beautiful countryside next to an ancient woodland. The vast majority of guests are people who are working locally and want somewhere basic to make an easy evening meal and get a good nights sleep. It is not a luxury holiday chalet. Please note that mobile homes can get very hot in the summer. We do have fans in the mobile home but no air conditioning. If you do not like the heat please be aware of this before booking. Sorry no dogs allowed.

Cosy railway cabin on the edge of Ashwell

Set on the edge of our family farm, surrounded by wildflowers, our railway cabin is a tranquil retreat in the picturesque village of Ashwell. Recently done up to a high standard, it makes for the perfect base if you are exploring the village or visiting friends. The cabin has ensuite facilities and a king-size double bed. Underfloor heating keeps it cosy all year round and an outdoor eating area and firepit make it a great place to relax and enjoy the spectacular sunsets.

The Barn at the Old George and Dragon

The village of Pavenham is situated just 6 miles north of Bedford. Surrounded by the beautiful setting of the River Ouse, the village has a magnificent golf club and a pub right in the centre. Just 100 metres from the Old George and Dragon, the COCK does not provide food at the moment, but a great atmosphere. However, 5 minutes drive away is the SUN at Felmersham which does good food. Several places in Bedford deliver takeaways. Ideal for walkers on the John Bunyan Trail.

Next to our thatched cottage and with a peaceful garden just for you and gorgeous country walks, you’ll feel at home in the heart of the country. A parking space is just by the barn. You get the annex to yourself, with WiFi, a well equipped kitchen, open plan lounge and dining space. The double bedroom includes a smart TV, crisp fresh sheets, towels and ensuite.

Cosy Detached Barn with private parking

The barn is approximately 218 years old and situated in an English cottage garden on the doorstep of Woburn Abbey with lots of gorgeous walks in the beautiful countryside. The Abbey entrance gate is 0.4 miles away, you can walk through the deer park & extensive grounds. A public footpath takes you to the Elephant house & beyond. We are on the route of the famous Greensand Ridge & boast a lovely local pub the "Rose & Crown", serving good British food.

Converted in 2017 because my son was threatening to come home from university.... he changed his mind so now the self contained accommodation is available for you to enjoy in our beautiful village of Ickwell. A lovely detached self contained annexe . Newly decorated and fully furnished.Separate toilet and shower room . Full kitchen , with hob , oven , toaster , kettle , fridge freezer . Cutlery, plates and cooking equipment provided. There is a small patio area outside. Set in the countryside with some lovely local walks . The annexe is in our garden situated approximately 10 metres from our house .

Riverside Retreat

Nearly a century old, children call it “The Witches House” and we haven't changed it's magic. A mezzanine provides the main bedroom, a little window overlooks the lawns. Downstairs is a log burning stove, a sofa/double bed, and all facilities needed. French doors open to a patio over the river and woodland views. 40 minutes from London and you're in another world.
