If you looking to break free from city life, Dan Thai farm is the perfect place to go for the whole family. The farm is about 20 minutes from Underburg. This self-catering farm house is peaceful and you surrounded by mountains and the well known Umzimkulu River. So much to do for the whole family. Amazing trout fishing, tubing down the river, birdwatching, long walks and so much more. Just a friendly reminder its a farm, and when it rains the roads are a bit messy. please be aware of that🙏

Umvuleni farm

Umvuleni farm is situated approx. 15 kms from the Drak gardens turnoff. Consists of a main house and smaller outbuilding. The main house consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and an open plan living area. The smaller outbuilding has 2 rooms and a single bathroom. Large open lawns allow kids to ride bikes and run to their hearts content. For those keen anglers the dam is stocked and waiting for your first cast. The firepit will allow you to keep warm whilst enjoying the great outdoors.

Luxury Farm Cottage in the Berg

Bergview Farm Cottage offers a luxurious escape in the heart of the Drakensberg. Each of the four bedrooms boasts a king-size bed, ensuite bathroom, electric blanket, fireplace, and flatscreen TV. The rooms feature elegant decor and amenities like showers or baths. The open-plan lounge and dining area with a 12-seater table connects to a large kitchen equipped with a gas hob and oven. Outside, enjoy a spacious patio, two firepits, and a charcoal braai, all with stunning mountain views.

Two Springs Cottage

The cottage is in the garden next to our family home with a security fence, on a working sheep and cattle farm. The space is well decorated, spacious, neat and clean. It gets wonderful afternoon sun making it light and airy. The cottage has all the necessary amenities for a very comfortable stay. We are situated outside of Swartberg, halfway between Underberg and Kokstad. Located conveniently right off the R617 making it easily accessible with minimal gravel road. Rates are per person.

The Tin Shack

The Tin Shack is set on a small farm 11 kilometers outside the village of Underberg with spectacular views of the berg, offering rustic accommodation ideally suited for small families. A small two bedroom, one bathroom cottage with a deck overlooking the dam. We are fully equipped for self catering, with comfortable beds, kitchen, lounge and braai facilities, with a log fire, no TV, plenty of games and books it is the perfect place to recharge.

Pear Tree Cottage- Underberg- 4 Sleeper

At the foot of Mt Sutherland we offer the warmth of our quaint Pear Tree Cottage. This is the pre-1900 original Elton farm-house constructed of wattle and daub. It has a perfectly simple "old world" charm about it, and is simply perfect for that much needed escape from busy and sophisticated city life. It is also an excellent base from which to explore our scenic Southern Drakensberg countryside and newly proclaimed World Heritage Site.

New England Cottage

Escape to a stylish farm retreat offering a spacious 3-bedroom en-suite home with an additional guest loo. Enjoy open-plan living with a double fireplace warming the lounge and dining area, plus a fully equipped kitchen with premium SMEG appliances. Set on a working farm with 700 cows and 80 horses, unwind on the large veranda with built-in braai and soak up sweeping dam and mountain views. A peaceful, private country getaway.

The Grange Cottage

The Grange Cottage situated on a working cattle and sheep farm. The 2 bedroom open plan cottage is stylfully decorated. Lovely open garden as well as braai area. Guests are welcome to explore the farm and join farm drives to experience farming activities first hand. Guests are also welcome to help themselves to the organic veggie garden.

Gypsy Rose Cabin

Enjoy a memorable visit when you stay in this unique cabin set on a farm on the R617 between Underberg and Swartberg. Conveniently close to the R617 road for overnight stop, so sound of traffic is audible. Beautiful farm dam just a short walk from the Cabin.

SILO COTTAGE

Up market, warm and comfortable, spacious and well furnished. Magnificent mountain views and river frontage. Distance from Underberg village is 12kms and close to the Sani Pass to Lesotho. Very private but secure. Garage parking for 3 cars.

Penwarn Farm - Kingfisher Cottage

Kingfisher sleeps 2 adults. Enjoying a queen room on the lower level, with an open plan kitchen & lounge with TV & fireplace. . Bathroom with shower. Verandah has a moveable braai.
