We are located at the end of one of Greytowns most beautiful streets, a walkable 2km into the shops and cafes. As well, we are on a popular walking and biking route to the Waiohine river.

The Tree House is a perfect, off-the-grid retreat for nature lovers, where you can listen to birdsong, see the sunrise from the deck and hear the river flowing in the valley. Two minutes walk and you come to The Watermill Bakery serving delicious pizza on Friday evenings, except during winter. The Tree House is close to a small productive lavender farm, Lavender magic, who sell cut flowers in season, and Mount Holdsworth, where you will be able to access a wide variety of walking tracks.

The Loft is situated in Carterton, in the beautiful Wairarapa. The Loft is a newly refurbished, modern, spacious first floor apartment - separate from the main house, with all day sun. Located above the garage, an easy walk up two flights of stairs brings you to your own private space. The space includes a separate bedroom with queen bed and ensuite and a lounge/dining area with kitchenette. A small balcony off the lounge allows guests to sit and enjoy a break with a view to the Tararuas.

The View

On a plateau overlooking the Ruamahanga river valley is our cosy two bedroom fully self contained cottage. The views are jaw dropping, backdropped by the Tararua Ranges. On the river flats below, summer crops form a patchwork of different colours. Above, the big sky can be an endless blue or filled with rolling banks of cloud and truly spectacular sunsets. At night the wondrous canopy of stars is why the region is an official International Dark Sky Reserve. It’s all utterly peaceful.

Escape to this loveable 1890s cottage on a 2.6‑hectare organic garden estate. Sleeps 6 in 3 cosy bedrooms, perfect for creative retreats, family weekends or nature lovers—yet just a short drive from town. It has a wood fire, heaters and electric blankets. The cottage is well decorated and equipped with essentials. Our rural shed is a spacious self-contained getaway with sun and views of the surrounding countryside. It is best suited for 2 guests, but can accomodate 4, with a queen size bed upstairs and a fold-out sofa in the living room. A fold out bed is available for children. We stock the kitchenette with free range eggs, locally made bread, homemade jam, butter, milk, tea and coffee. There’s a BBQ available. We’re 5 minutes walk to the Carterton shops and near the railway station.
