The Bothy is a rural, coastal, studio cottage.

This unique place has a style all of its own. The Bothy is newly renovated and offers a peaceful, coastal getaway for 2. It is a twin bedded studio cottage with a separate bathroom and shower. There is a microwave, electric hob, toaster and kettle in the kitchen area. Dining table and chairs. Wall mounted TV and WiFi. There are several quiet beaches with wonderful coastlines to explore within walking distance. There is also the stunning St Medan Golf Course that welcomes visitors all year round.

Ivy Bank Studio Creetown - Gem Rocks Neighbour.

Ivy Bank Studio, run by Mary & Jonathan, is an attached studio room of Ivy Cottage. It is independent from the main Cottage. Which itself was built in 1795 from local stone. It is situated on a private no through road, located directly in front of the Gem Rock museum and cafe. The location of the studio room in Creetown offers excellent outdoor views across to Cairnsmore Hill & Wigtown Bay. Creetown itself is a welcoming tourist village ideal for those wishing to explore Dumfries & Galloway.

Shore Escape

Shore Escape is a self-catering, coastal, family-run, handcrafted retreat with sea views and a stones throw from the shore line of Carsluith Bay. It is situated on the edge of the UK's first Dark Sky Park and situated on the South Coast 300 route. 2 Calgow Cottages - Gateway to the Galloway Hills

2 Calgow Cottage is a fully refurbished semi-detached cottage in the heart of Galloway, within walking distance of Newton Stewart, described as the 'Gateway to the Galloway Hills'. Our large garden backs on to the mature woodlands of Kirroughtree Forest, famous for its recreational offering including bike shop and cafe, walking trails, and home to one of the 'seven stanes' mountain biking sites. Closeby are miles of coastline, hills, and spectacular scenery, ideal for that perfect getaway.

High Point Boathouse is a stylish, dog-friendly retreat for two adults, set within the grounds of High Point Beach House. Completely self-contained with its own private entrance and outdoor space, it offers peace, privacy and relaxation. The light-filled bedroom sits within the eaves and features large Velux windows with sea views, perfect for stargazing beneath the dark skies of Sandgreen. Just a short stroll from the beach and coastal walks, ideal for couples and their four-legged friend.

Carrick Shore, Coastal home private entry to beach

Spacious beach house with private enclosed garden, ample parking area with private access down to the beach. Well equipped for family life. 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms. TV and Wifi. Plenty of games and books etc for the young ones. Carrick Bay has plenty of opportunities to fish, swim, walk, cycle, sail, canoe, windsurf or paddle board. Or of course just chill with a cold drink and stargaze. Friday check in, 3 night minimum booking in winter months and minimum 7 days from April to November.

The Old Toll House Petite and perfectly formed

Petite but perfectly formed The Old Toll house is a perfect base to explore Dumfries and Galloway. The Old Toll house was built in 1813 the same time as the bridge was built. It was the original Toll house used to collect the payment for people crossing between Newton Stewart and Minnigaff. The old wooden bridge and ford was replaced in 1813 John Rennie (The Elder) won the honour of the commission. Thomas Telford his competitor also submitted plans. Thank you for your booking.

The Granary, Little Tahall Farm

The Granary is situated on our small working farm with stunning views over Wigtown Bay. Sleeps 2/4 with twin or double bedroom downstairs, single/double bed can be provided in lounge. Small child friendly, travel cot, high chair etc available. Short drive to beaches, Galloway Forest, hills and coast. Five minutes from Wigtown, handy for the Book Festival. Great for bikers, cyclists, walkers, bird watching or relaxing. One well behaved dog welcome, please advise us before arrival.

Luxurious cabin surrounded by nature, at the foot of Cairnsmore of Fleet, 200m from Kirroughtree 7 Stanes, Scotland's premier mountain bike trail, in the middle of Dark Sky Park within the Galloway Forest Park & the UNESCO GSA Biosphere. We've got secret wild swimming spots, stargazing, & wildlife in abundance, lovely walks on Cairnsmore or just relax, unwind and reconnect with family & friends. Our jewel of a cabin harks back to simpler days surrounded by beauty. Enjoy!

The Potager Tree House

Situated within the vegetable garden five feet up. Unfortunately, not suitable for disabled access. There is a tree coming up through the balcony which gets full sun in the morning for breakfast alfresco. Living area is small and quirky but with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Outside there is a BBQ, a wood fired whiskey barrel hot tub and enough coals and logs provided for one night. The garden is secure and dog friendly. Private entry and parking.
