Our romantic windmill (1874) is just a few miles from Amsterdam in wide green fields and along a meandering river: "Gein". Easy access to the A'dam. by car, train or by bike. You have the entire windmill to yourself. Three floors, 3 bedrooms with double beds: it easily sleeps 6, a kitchen, living, 2 toilets and a bathroom with bath/shower. Bikes available + kayak. Just leave some extra money if you did use them. No need to reserve ahead. Great swimming water and small landing just in front.

With triple aspect views of fields, there is always something to see, whether it is farmers in action, cows grazing or a kestrel hovering. The area is popular with cyclists, walkers and birdwatchers, yet famous cities such as Gouda and Rotterdam are only a short car journey away. No breakfast available. The cottage is en-suite with shower, toilet & washbasin, 2 comfortable beds next to each other, a dining area and a sitting area. The cottage also has got a mini-kitchen for small meals and there are tea and coffee making facilities. (Nespresso) 2 bikes and public transportcards to borrow. No children or baby’s without swimming diploma. Frontyard with cal and camera; backyard has nò cal and camera.

If you are a Nederlander or if you are planning to make a trip to the Netherlands, a visit to Kinderdijk should not be missed. It is fantastic to live near to the monumental windmills. The house is rented without a garden, but from inside or out on the balcony you will have stunning views of the mills. We would like to give you a warm welcome at our house where we do everything to give you a pleasant and memorable stay.
