Newly renovated barn on a quiet rural road yet close to all the attractions of Southern Litchfield County. The light-filled barn has two large patio doors into a substantial living and entertaining area with a large sectional sofa-bed, a dining table for 10 and adjacent kitchen area with an island. There is a downstairs washroom. A large light-filled upstairs sleeping area has a king-size bed and a bathroom with shower. Outside is a patio dining area and parking in a dedicated driveway.

Association waterfront direct one minute walk from back patio. Canoe and 2 kayaks available for exploring the lake and islands! We have an Airbnb exemption regarding guests with service animals. We cannot accommodate guests with a pet or who require a service animal. This is strict policy that is not negotiable.

Extremely family friendly community that includes for guests to use: beach, playground, lap lanes, baseball field, bocce, basketball, tennis & pickleball courts. We provide two kayaks and one paddleboard with the home. The home is lake front and the lake is fully accessible from our dock. PLEASE ASK BEFORE BRINGING YOUR OWN BOAT. We also have a golf cart for additional rent. The home is 20 minutes from Thunder Ridge Ski Mountain.

It features a large fireplace in the living room, porch over looking the lake, central heat and air conditioning and a fully equipped cook's kitchen. It is on the northern most part of Candlewood Lake with direct, private water access from the shore or the dock. A foam lily pad, two SUP, and two inflatable two person kayaks are available for use from May 1 to November 1..
