Welcome to our place! Very quiet and peaceful 2 bedroom unit at the end of our house with it's own entrance and parking. Lots of space and some wildlife too! Fully self contained kitchen with oven, fridge/freezer, Kureg coffee machine, microwave, toaster, and kettle. Tea, coffee, milk and muesli also. There is a dryer for guests use. Our place backs onto Wildlife Habitat Area. Out in the country but only 20 minutes from Cochrane and an hour from Calgary Airport. Come & enjoy GVR Retreat!

Hike (or snow shoe) on or off property with miles of marked trails. Stay in this authentic log cabin attached, but private from, the main home on the ranch. Pre arranged horse accommodation available if you want a bed and bail experience with your horse (Contact for details) at an additional cost. Winter visits only possible with a 4x4 vehicle

Located 10 minutes north of Cremona just off the famous Cowboy Trail. Hike along the trails that wind through the woods surrounding the cabin or leave the farm to head west to photograph the world famous Alberta Wild Horses.

The "Love Shack" A Place of Serenity

WE'VE GOT THE SHACK...YOU BRING THE LOVE......This rustic backwoods log cabin is a couples retreat with total privacy and nestled among the pine trees on 5 acres with a seasonal creek at the edge of our hobby farm. This an open plan cabin with a queen bed, self contained indoor wood burning fire (wood provided), dining table and sofa. There is a small kitchenette with a kettle, coffee maker and toaster. 2 garbage bins, one for garbage and one for cans and bottles. Fire pit for cooking

The Bunkhouse

Come to relax and experience a taste of the country at RTR Ranch with our newly renovated 450 sq/ft 1905 bunkhouse. Featuring a kitchen, living room, bedroom and en suite with a soaker tub and glass walk in shower. Cuddle up on the couch for a movie or outside on the porch swing gazing at the stars. After a good nights sleep enjoy your coffee on porch swing or a stroll around the ranch! Coffee, tea, hot chocolate and packaged oatmeal is provided. There is so much more to enjoy at RTR!

The Deer House - a character cabin in the woods

We have 3 cabins on the property. The Deer House, The Beaver House and The Little Red House Filed with character and charm, The Deer House is an authentic log cabin on our beautiful and private 30 acre property. It has 5 comfortable bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living spaces, featuring a large sunroom and cozy stone fireplace. - Accommodates up to 12 guests - Fully equipped kitchen - Wi-Fi - BBQ & Firepit - 2 bathrooms, 5 bedrooms + extra beds - Sports equipment and playing areas

Cozy Eco Cabin - Off Grid - Connected to Nature

Beautiful rustic off-grid straw bale cabin surrounded by unspoiled nature and working ranch lands, located between Calgary and Canmore. Running water May-Oct, wood stove and old-fashioned outhouse. Cozy and simple with all the comforts you need. We lived in this little cabin with two toddlers for over a year while we built our house and it has everything you need to be comfortable. It is magical in the winter. Fun fact: A full length feature film was recently filmed here!

Cozy RV camping for nature lovers

This trailer is situated on our park-like acreage, giving you the opportunity to enjoy a true camping experience. It features one queen bed, two single beds, and a full bathroom with a stand-up shower. Water and sewage and a 15-amp power are hooked up. This is a camping trip with no Wi-Fi. You need to use your own mobile data. Remember to bring your sports gear for outdoor activities, such as a soccer ball, badminton rackets, or other recreational equipment you may enjoy.

Privacy and seclusion abound whilst the open setting means that full advantage is made of every hour of sunlight! Attached and heated garage as well as outdoor parking.
