Fresh spring water flows though the property a gravity‑fed system, our on‑site waterfall generates clean hydroelectric power. Discover a charming waterfall, abundant wildlife such as the endangered Cassowary, the smallest kangaroo in the world and over 160 bird species. We are just 90mins from Cairns.

Private Rainforest Ridge Retreat

Large upstairs fully self contained living area and full kitchen, with a bedroom QS bed, bath and shower combo, toilet. Downstairs is owners residence, a large front lawn with a fire place, as well as a shared laundry. Breakfast, coffee and tea facilities are provided let us know if you have any special requirements. We can also provide other meals at reasonable cost, Oza works in a kitchen and loves cooking delicious food. We offer hiking transfers and maps if you want to do some walks.

The cottage is on a ten acre property surrounded by nature in every direction. The cottage is spacious with unique features like an outdoor bath and a lovely rainforest driveway. Rare and endemic species of rainforest and fruit trees. Wildlife and birds live and visit the property . Tree kangaroos nearby. Tropical Bliss

Local cafes and restaurants only a 5 min walk, 10min walk to the botanical gardens, CBD is only 12mins by car. The studio is spacious, light and airey. Once inside, views to the pool which is are surrounded by tropical gardens. In the pool area there is a large sunbed for relaxing, morning coffee or a quiet sundowner. My place is very private, quiet and you will have a real local experience. It offers your own BBQ for cooking it has only a kitchenette with microwave and air fryer.

A private and self contained guest unit, detached from to the main house with It’s own private entrance. It also has a private undercover area directly under the guest unit. Quite secluded location with elevated 180 degree views. Caravonica is a central location to a number of attractions around the Cairns area. You can walk to Lake Placid or Skyrail and only a short drive to Kuranda Rail at Freshwater. You can drive to Kuranda or Cairns City in twenty minutes.
