Peedie Cott is a beautiful one bedroom house in the picturesque village of St Margaret’s Hope, Orkney, perfect for a couple or an individual visitor. Peedie Cott is within walking distance from the ferry to Scottish mainland and, is also on the main bus route to Kirkwall and Stromness. Peedie Cott has an open plan spacious living area with log burner, and a retro style kitchen from which you can go outside and sit on the deck. Upstairs in the bedroom, is a king size bed and plenty of storage.

The Highland Haven is perfect for those travelling the NC500 or visiting Orkney in a group. Our two rooms have traditional box beds and can sleep up to 10 (4 in one room, 6 in the other), each with Ensuite and an extra wet room. There is a large open plan kitchen, dining, lounging area surrounding a wood burner. We have secure parking, free laundry facilities and WIFI . Our location is stunning and full of wildlife. A unique home by the sea. A peaceful and private country road leads to this secluded cottage. The hot tub has views down scapa flow. The famous St Magus Way is accessible from this property . There is direct access to the sea for paddle boarding, wind surfing or sailing in the bay. Return to the cottage to an open fire. The extensive grounds also allow for simple walks or yoga. The cottage retains some of it's 19th century charm but has been renovated to be a practical and comfortable home.

A perfect location for viewing local wildlife or visiting archaeological sites such as the"Tomb of the Eagles", or wartime sites such as Hoxa Head and the Italian Chapel. A 20 minutes walk from 3 beaches and the Sands Hotel Bar and Restaurant. A 20 minute drive to Kirkwall, over the Churchill Barriers with their historic shipwrecks.

Constructed in 2021 it has been purpose built to the highest modern standards. Conveniently situated, Skeir a Lidda is easy to get to and is a perfect base from which to explore the islands. Maydene is a modern, one bedroom self catering accomodation. We provide you with a peaceful and homely stay. The accommodation is situated next to our family home. It overlooks the historic sight of Scapa Flow. We are situated in Holm, Orkney, which is less than a 10minute drive to Kirkwall (main town). A car is advised if you are staying at Maydene as it is around a 20 minute walk to the main bus route. We also provide information about Orkney and attractions to visit.

Our beautifully restored self catering cottage is located on the island of Burray linked by road via the Churchill barriers to the mainland of Orkney and is attached to our family home. We have kept and restored some of the old beautiful features like the exposed stone walls and stone floor we have also installed a new multi fuel stove for cosy nights around the fire
