Plenty to do and more a short car trip away. Suitable for 4 adults and 2 children in bunk beds.

If you want to work there is a second bedroom that is set up for an office/home working. Close to the hustle and bustle of Wivenhoe but tucked away in Mulberry Harbour Way.

This is retro Americana meets the Essex countryside with original fixtures lovingly kept, chic modern comforts added, and a large covered deck with a gas BBQ overlooking the water. Stroll around the lake, or follow the footpath through the farm to local The Haywain pub. Sleeps up to 4, and your dog is welcome too!

Tuck away next to the Wivenhoe woods (upper Wivenhoe), this lovely self-contained studio flat provides comfortable accommodation throughout. The studio is on a cul-de-sac, with its own entrance. It is just a short walk to the University of Essex via Wivenhoe Public pathway. The the train station is also only 15 minute walk away through the Wivenhoe trail. Ideal for 1-2 guests, but a baby or small chid is welcome (providing that you bring your own travel cot & bedding with you).

Riverside gem with a nautical past

In the heart of lower Wivenhoe on the quay, our little self-contained cottage was once part of the home of The Colne Marine and Yacht Company. Its thick brick walls and quiet and pretty disposition, defy its former role as a working yard where timber yachts were crafted and repaired, drawn up inside at high tide. Emma and Charlie welcome guests back time after time to relax and enjoy this very special place. We hope you will join them.

The Former Exchange is a quirky bungalow tucked away in the heart of St Osyth village. Ideal for a couple or a small family, comprising a master bedroom with ensuite, a second bedroom with single bed and a small family bathroom. A fourth person could be accommodated on a sofa bed, on request. Open plan living and kitchen areas, lend a light and airy feel, with bi-folding doors opening onto a small private garden.
