The Loft

The Loft is an en-suite bedroom above our garage with separate access and plenty of off-street safe parking. There are no cooking facilities but there is a coffee machine, kettle and some basic supplies. Breakfast is not included but can be by arrangement. Please note that it’s a family home and so we don’t guarantee silence! Oulton Park, Blakemere Craft Centre, The Hollies and The Shire Horse Centre are all local. Access is easy to Chester, Knutsford and Manchester.

The Fal Narrowboat at Oakwood Marina

Our narrowboat Fal is moored at Oakwood Marina on the Trent & Mersey Canal near the village of Davenham. A very friendly community which has an on site shop and tea room which opens Thursday to Monday. Within easy reach of M6 motorway. Chester is around 30 minutes away, Knutsford is 15 minutes drive, not to mention some of Cheshires many gardens of distinction and country houses. **Winter offer for long term stays (over 28 Days) until 1st March 2026!**
